Description
Housing fo r Hawaiians has become the program of the Hawaiian Homes Commission because of the growing Hawaiian demand and need since 1920. Commissioners can’t meet the demand. Land specialist from the "big five" were among the advisers at congressmens’ elbows. They drafted that portion of the act which spelled out the Hawaiian Home Lands, island by island. "All cultivated sugar-cane lands were specifically excluded.
