Patsy Mink Exhibit: A Woman of Her Words
This exhibit features the contributions of Patsy Mink, featured at the William S. Richardson School of Law Library from February 22 to April 15, 2022.
The Law Library collaborated with Marya Zoller and Kristin Laitila from the Hawaiʻi State Public Library, in featuring large panels on Patsy Mink, created by them.
The Law Library also added other posters to complement details on her contributions to Title IX and womenʻs rights, as well as a chronological biography on her career based on her Library of Congress biography.
Professor Troy Andrade donated materials on Patsy Minkʻs campaign for U.S. Congress.
The exhibit covered her contributions to civil rights, women's rights, gender equality, Title IX, U.S. Congress as Hawaiʻi's Congressional Representative, and the peace movement.
